SAVOUR LOCAL SCENERY.
Adelaide drone and landscape photographer Mr Bo describes the South Australian locations that he explored in his MINI Countryman vignette.
My MINI vignette was filmed in South Australia, we explored many locations in the MINI Countryman and from above using a drone.
Our journey began at Sellicks Beach to capture drone footage while the tide was out. The vivid hues of the ocean always offer this unbelievable contrast against the different sand tones, so I wanted to make sure I got some footage of this to interweave within my video.
We then continued driving down the Fleurieu Peninsula to Rapid Bay. The heads-up display was super handy along this coastline as it picked up all the reduced speed limits for the road works zones. The Fleurieu Peninsula is one of my favourite locations to shoot as there are so many awesome undiscovered spots that not many people know about.
Once we had completed filming along the Peninsula we opened the sunroof of the MINI Countryman and hit the road again to travel to Fox Creek Winery in McLaren Vale. Summer sunlight was pouring through the vineyard and we ended the day devouring wine and cheese. The MINI picnic bench became a useful travel companion for late evening insect repellent application.
On our trip home the following day, I fulfilled my dream of shooting a lone car driving down the palm lined roads of Seppeltsfield. Seppeltsfield is one of Australia's oldest wineries, so it was a real privilege to get to capture some of its beauty on film.
